Justin debuted an acoustic version of the song on December 29th of 2009 at MuchMusic. He sang on VH1 and Bowl Super Fan Jam, along with other artists such as Rihanna, JoJo and Timbaland. The Early Show as part of Super Bowl program "Baby" was performed live with Ludacris for the first time in the "SOS: Saving Our selves - Help for Haiti earthquake" on February 6th of 2010, where he was aired on VH1 and MTV. During the chorus, he changed the lyrics to "Baby, baby, Haiti," to show support to the cause, and why did all come together for the show. The song along with Drake at the Juno Awards in 2010 also got enormous popularity. In April of 2010, Justin noted that due to the changes of his voice, he could no longer perform the right way all the notes of the song, and in live performances, the pitch was lower. Bieber sang live on the TV show Sunrise on 26 April 2010 in Australia. The performance was done in the studio after his public presentation was canceled. He also performed on May 11, 2010 during The Oprah Winfrey Show. He also sang on June 4, 2010 at the Today Show, along with "Never Say Never", "Somebody to Love" and "One Time". He gave a performance with the song "Somebody to Love" in MuchMusic Video Awards in 2010. Part of the album My World 2.0, the song Baby was released as the first single from the album in January 2010, and was generally well received by critics, reaching the first position only in France. The song was written by Canadian, Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, Terius "The-Dream" Nash, whose last worked with Bieber "One Time", the singer of R&B Christina Milian and Ludacris. The single was made ​​available for digital download on January 18th of 2010. "Baby" sold over 6.4 million downloads and was among the ten best sellers of 2010, according to the ranking of the IFPI. When I started this blog some months ago, it was more proof of concept than a traffic magnet source. The experiments performed gained me many useful data that I used for SEO optimization of my website and so far I am glad that I created it. Today I wanted to check the stats and see what are the most popular post and why would people read them.

The most popular post is the news about the article about the blog being disapproved on Bukisa. They approved the article after some changes but the follow up article is not in the top five viewed posts. Second in the list is the post about the Justin Bieber SEO blog and the Yahoo search engine. Yahoo usually being the second search engine to look for SEO after Google is not to be neglected. The post was published later than the post about Bukisa, so actually it shall be in better position if we watch by traffic/time criteria. Third in the list and first if we watch by traffic/time criteria is the post about the first comment on the blog. Seems like the blog is now on the radar of other SEO people so I expect more comments and visits. Fourth in the list is a post about the blog on the Google index. It was published on the same day as the post about the disapprove of article on Bukisa, so it's stands on this place. Five in the list is the post about the document published on Docstoc. Docstoc becomes really popular site recently, especially after the Google Panda update, so it is no wonder that the post is in the top five. Visitors coming to Justin Bieber SEO Blog from RSS feeds.

When I started the Justin Bieber SEO blog some months ago, I had the possibility to host it on various blogging platforms. I choose Blogger (Blogspot) over the others because of my trust in Google and the easy integration of the various services hosted on Google's servers. One of the services is the RSS feed via Google FeedBurner, which was automatically integrated, and I didn't tweak anything about it. Today I went to the new interface of Google FeedBurner to check the statistics and noticed that traffic is coming from there to my last post:

Taking into account that I didn't do anything about the RSS feed, I receive traffic from there, meaning that it's Search Engine Optimization also must be taken into account. The blog gaining more popularity will mean more subscribers to the feed, more comments and more visitors. The SEO work for the Justin Bieber SEO blog continues.

Justing Bieber SEO blog receives it's first comment.

Today, while checking my e-mail, I received a new message about a new comment on my post about "The SEO experiment is now on Docstoc":

As I didn't not abandon the blog I was tempted to see what is it about. Unfortuanely the comment looks like a spam to me, done with automated software. But a comment is a comment nevertheless. At least it proves that the blog is also now in the database of spam posting software as well on the radar of more people. But spammers, please go away. I actively maintain this blog. I will leave the first comment, because it got it's honour, but anything else looking suspicios, will be removed. Of course if you have real comments to add to my posts, don't hesitate to reply.

Justin Bieber SEO blog goes mobile

Today I logged into the blog admin panel and saw a hint that now I can select mobile theme for my blog that will be for mobile devices. Since this blog is mainly for experiments, I immediately went to find what is it and in less than a minute now I have mobile version of the blog as well.

The preview feature allows you to decide whenever to turn the option or leave it as before, but I prefer to have more options for the users and they decide which version to read, than forcing them only to use full featured browsers.

More audience for the blog is better, be it on laptop, ipad, iphone or mobile devices. The blog is getting more and more popular all the time.

Justin Bieber SEO blog Instant Preview

The new Google Webmaster Tools Instant Previews options is very useful to see how your website will look in the Google search preview results. People who like your preview will also like to visit your website. To be sure that the preview looks exactly the same as your website, you must check it.

I checked the new feature in the Webmaster Tools and was happy to see the Instant preview looks almost the same as the actual blog layout.

No wonder the preview looks almost the same despite having 35 errors during fetching resources, taking into account that blogger is owned by Google.

Good news for the blog that is going forward with every new post.

Justin Bieber SEO blog and Yahoo

Many people think that SEO means optimizing the search results only for Goolge. Since Google is not the only search engine in the world of Internet, optimizing the results for the other search engines means even more traffic. Today I checked how the Justin Bieber SEO experiment stands in the Yahoo results. Search in quotes for "justin bieber seo blog" did not bring any results from this blog, meaning that Yahoo did not crawl it yet. Strangely enough the article on Flixya is first in the results, as seen by the picture below:

There are so many materials about SEO for Google, that it is much hard to find proper information for Yahoo SEO. In my case I did not rank well in Yahoo and the Flixya website ranks better for exact keywords match. The conclusion - I shall test more Yahoo SEO, even if it does not bring as much traffic as Google.

Today I logged into Google Webmaster Tools to check how the Justin Bieber SEO blog is standing with Google. Here are the results:

In the search queries top 10 are :justin bieber, big traffic, justin bieber stats,
justin bieber blogg, justin bieber phrases, blog seo, justin bieber blog, justin people, blog justin bieber and justin bieber blogg bilder.
Main keywords are blog (2 variants), seo, bieber, justin, experiment. Three domains are listed for the Links to the site - bukisa.com, hubpages.com and webupon.com. 1 not found error and 17 URL restricted by robots.txt
The experiment continues with more tests and pictures.

Justin Bieber SEO blog on first page in Google Search results

After adding my previous post about the partnering with As Seen on TV, I wrote on Google search for justin bieber as seen on tv. The Justin Bieber SEO blog was on the first page results - ninth link. Amazing. I easily ranked on Google with the free blog, without spending money for SEO.

As seen on the image at the right, the blog appeared in the Google Search Engine Results at 9th place, beating the Verified Account of Justin Bieber on Myspace Comedy. The experiment continues. I am going to check what the other search engines like Yahoo, Bing, Yandex and Seznam return for the SEO optimized blog. It gets more and more interesting as the blog gets more and more attention and develops. Of course not by its own. SEO is a constant process of building your name on the web. I just received an e-mail from Google Affiliate Network with a list of their new programs. I applied for As Seen On TV. It is about partnering with the official "As Seen on TV" website. On their website you can find all products from your favorite infomercials and television programming. I received approval and now the Justin Bieber SEO blog is official partner with As Seen on TV

Justin Bieber SEO - second result for image search is this blog.

While looking at the stats of the blog I noticed yesterday I had a visit from Google image search. Curious to see how the blog was found I followed the link to find that the blog is now the second result for the phrase Justin Bieber SEO. Putting the search in quotes brings very similar result:

As seen on the picture, the second result is a picture of the blog statistics that I published after I got the first visitor from Google. The fourth result is a picture from article about the experiment on Hub Pages. There are other results for the phrase linking to content related to this blog and the experiment as well.

So far the experiment is more than successful. When I started it last month I was not expecting any visits to this site at all. I have two other blogs, related to my website, where I publish by microblogging updates to my website in English and in Bulgarian, but they did not gain any natural visitors even after months of posting on them. The Justin Bieber SEO blog is much more popular, even if less maintained. The conclusion with the new results is that it is much easier to rank for images than for text, where everyone is focusing. If the blog turns even more successful than it is now, I may reconsider its goal and turn it into a full featured blog with news, events, gossips, reviews and similar. The experiment continues. I added article in Microsoft Word document about the experiment on document publishing website - Justin Bieber on Docstoc. While it may not give direct link to the blog, it will spread the word about the experiment to bigger audience.

The Justin Bieber SEO experiment with proof that everyone can get traffic even in highly competitive niches

Millions of people read about and perform Search Engine Optimization (or SEO). It is high dynamic niche, where changes are made literally on daily basis. There are some techinques that did not chage a lot since years and they are best for performing SEO. I use one of these techinques, called quality unique content. It is working very good till now. I believe the best way to learn something is to actually do it, so I started an SEO experiment, that made me learn new strategies for my website presence and development.

On 16th of March 2011, I wrote an article about Justin Bieber and the SEO specialists, who use his name as easier way to rank and receive more traffic. This article was part of an experiment for which I created a separate blog on Blogger. Later I wrote an article about the experiment on Flixya. Nine days later I started receiving traffic to the blog from the Google search engine. So far the experiment was going good. I wrote article about the blog on Hubpages and now I am writing as part of the experiment this article here on Bukisa. With more and more websites linking back to the blog or other articles related to the blog, the Justin Bieber SEO blog will get more and more popular. With more popularity, I will be able to gain more data and results from my experiment, that I will be sharing with the world, that will in turn help even more for the SEO of the blog. The Justin Bieber SEO experiment on Bukisa.

I wrote an article about the experiment on Bukisa. Bukisa is another publishing website like Triond and Hubpages, where creative authors can post their articles. Now this blog is linked from four different websites with different traffic, design and readership (Webupon, Flixya, Hubpages, Bukisa). Looking further to see if the site will receive twice as much traffic compared to the last week, or only one backlink matters and the next links are not equal in terms of search engine ranking.

I published article about the blog and the experiment on Hubpages. With more and more sites linking back to the blog and more people learning about the experiment, the results will be enriched with more and more data for analysis. The Justin Bieber SEO blog is already on Google.

On March 16, 2011, I wrote an article on the Justin Bieber SEO experiment on Webupon with link to this blog. Later I wrote about the experiment on Flixya. While watching at the blog statistics I noticed visits from Canada and Australia, with referrer Google.
The SEO experiment is successful so far. With only two articles two back links and keyword in the name of the blog, I was able to get indexed in Google in less than 10 days and received traffic from the Google search engine. Even if Justin Bieber is very competitive search phrase with million of results I was able to receive traffic. People usually want to have less competition and receive big traffic, but only with little work I was able to prove that you can receive traffic for hot topics, that are more interesting to the people.
